Would you choose Saatva HD or Titan Plus

I'm around 320 lbs and have been sleeping on a sagging pillow-top for far too long. I've narrowed it down to the Saatva HD and the Titan Plus, but I'm stuck. The Saatva costs more but seems more substantial. The Titan is cheaper and specifically built for heavier folks. Anyone here slept on either? I need something that won't develop a body impression within a year.

I'm about 280 and went with the Titan Plus about 18 months ago. It's firm. Very firm. If you're a side sleeper it might be too much. But zero sagging so far. The edge support is just okay, not great. For the price I'm satisfied.

Have you actually tried lying on either? What feels supportive to one person can be torture for another. I know that's not helpful but it's true

Fair point. I ordered the Titan without trying it first. It worked out but it was a gamble.

I've had the Saatva HD for a little over two years now. I'm 6'4" and roughly 340. It has held up well. No visible indentations. The pillow top is soft but the support underneath is solid. It's a heavy mattres though. Rotating it is a two-person job. My main complaint is the price. It was around $2,400 for a queen. But I figure if it lasts eight to ten years it's worth it. The Titan was my secodn choice. I went with Saatva because they have a showroom within driving distance and I could actually feel it.

How's the motion transfer on the Saatva HD? My wife is a light sleeper and I move around a lot.

Not bad. Better than our old memory foam. She hasn't complained, which is rare.

I looked at both and ended up going a completely different direction. I found a local guy who bilds mattresses with heavy-duty coils and dense foam. Cost me less than either and he delivered it. I know that's not what you asked, sorry.

That local builder option is interesting. I hadn't considered that. I'm going to see if there's anyone doing that near me. And hollowpoint, thanks for the detail on the Saatva. The rotating issue is a real concern for me since I'd be doing it alone.
