I'm looking at the Titan Plus and Titan Plus Luxe for a heavy sleeper (around 280 lbs). The specs seem similar but the Luxe costs more. What actually justifies the price difference? I've read some reviews but they're vague. Any firsthand experience or detailed breakdown would help.

Main difference is the top foam layer. Luxe has a thicker, softer foam for pressure relief, but it can sleep warmer. If you run hot, stick with the regular Plus
I weigh 310 and tried both. The Luxe felt plusher but I sank in more. Regular Plus was firmer and I preferred it for back support. Depends on your sleep position.
Luxe has a different coil system too, I think? More coils or thicker gauge. Not sure if that's true but the specs on the site show a higher coil fount.

Honestly, at your weight, either should work. The Luxe is more about comfort layers than durability. If you want a firmer mattress, save the money.

Edge support felt similar to me. The biggest difference is the foam. The Luxe uses a higher density foam in the comfort layer, which might last longer for heavier folks. But it's not a huge difference.
I'd go with the regular Plus and add a mattress topper if you need more softness. Cheaper and easier to replace.
The Luxe is also heavier and harder to move. If you plan on rotating it, keep that in mind.
